Able to monitor hook/fault status of analogue device via fxs?
I've been asked to find out if it is possible to monitor the status of an analogue phone attached to a VG224 via a 24 port FXS interface.
Specifically I need to to able to tell if the phone is off hook or faulty, the problem being I have a VG224 which has 7 of the 24 ports configured and all 7 ring quite happily when dialled from an IP handset whether there is an analogue phone physically present or not.
