Active Load ID

Hi All

I have been tasked with upgrading the firmware on a 7925 phone in our LA office, I'm going through all the steps that I usually do for any one of my other phones and when I finish and the phone has registered back to CM the active load ID still says that the load is unknown. If you have seen this before I would

really appreciate it if you could tell me where can I verify the new firmware is on the phone.

Hi,

The reason why the 7925 version isn't populating the active load ID is because the phone load needs to run SCCP version 17 or higher. I'm not sure what version of phone load you're running but this has been an issue in the past.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Brad - I had already come to the come to the conclusion that 7940's and 7960's weren't capable of generating the alerts as the  load ID/Active Load ID is consistent in the RIS database.

It was the inconsistencies relating to the 7941/7961's that I had questioned a few days back but have yet to have a response.

Is there a document/list somewhere that details which versions of SCCP for which phones will generate the alert.

Thanks

Rich
