AD integration with Cisco Unified Presence

Hi,

Is my understanding correct in that CUP can be integrated with AD in the following two ways:

1) Direct Integration with AD from within CUP

2) Users imported from CUCM (which is integrated with AD)

Brielfy,what are the advantages and disadvantages of both.

No, that's wrong. Users in CUPS are always synced from CUCM, what you configure in CUPS regarding to LDAP is the search base for users when they try to add them. You do not sync lap users to CUPS directly
