AD users not visible since import from Exchange

We have several users not visible in AD since the accounts were imported from exchange 2003 and added as a Unity account.

Unity Voice mail is working okay for these newly created accounts. It is only possible to view the AD users within AD with Advanced features allowed.

Although the user accounts are not visible within AD a search for the username in AD will find the user account. Once found permissions can be midified. Although not a show stopper a soloution is required as this has only happened since importing & creating Unity accounts from Exchange 2003.

Unity version 4.0.5 is being used.

Hi Ian -

When you used the Advanced Features of ADUC, one of the containers that gets displayed is LostandFound. This container is used to house Active Directory objects that are orphaned with the directory. This might occur by an administrator deleting a container or OU, while another administrator is attempting to move an object to that same container or OU. This is a way to protect and store objects that don't have an existing container within the Active Directory anymore. Could this be the case with your users?
