Adding a Failover server to an existing Unity 4.0 server
I hope someone can answer this for me. I would like to add a Unity failover server to a UM server that is using MSDE and not SQL. I understand that to have failover, you need to be using SQL. Is there anyway to add this failover server without rebuilding the primary to include SQL? Thank you in advance for any help.

Thanks for your reply, I think it is only MSDE because the original server was a standalone with 24 ports, during the installation, does it not use just MSDE when the # of ports is less than 32? The customer has elected to stay on this build and not upgrade.

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
