allow specific DN for route patterns

hi team,

Please help me to allow 8100 to 8199 Directory number to 9.xxx but 8181 to 8189 shoult not be able to access 9.xxx

If user dials from range 8181 to 8189 it should not get dial tone. where 8101 to 8190 should be routed well in Cisco call manager 6.x

Re: allow specific DN for route patterns

All you need to configure are CSS and partitions so only the users you need have access to 9.XXXX

thanks for reply.

challenge here between Directory number they should be able to talk.

Re: allow specific DN for route patterns

Either:

- Set up a different Calling Search Space (CSS), against the lines for extensions 8181 to 8189, such that the new CSS does not include the partition/s for 9.xxx but does include the partitions for the internal extensions.

- Or, if you only have everything in the same partition and have not been using Calling Search Spaces and Partitions at all, then create a new Partition with a new Urgent Priority blocking translation pattern, so that calls to 9 are immediately blocked, and include this in the CSS being used by the lines with extensions 8181 to 8189.

(the "" partition is included in every CSS, but is searched last)

Kind regards,

Craig
