Auto answer and Message button

Does the messages button get disabled if a auto answer is enabled on the 7941G Phone? or could the message button not work because of maximum number of calls is set to 2 and busy trigger set to 1?

no, why would having auto-answer modify the behavior of messages button????

i have a valid VM profile. I have tested it on my phone. I think it might be the button on the phone. I thought it might have some unique behavior because it is associated to IPCC Express or because the messages button was not picking up.
