We have a need to have inbound calls go to multiple mailboxes.
We are running Unity 4.0(3). We are not integated with exchange.
We are looking to have the voice message sent to 3 mailboxes immediately when a caller leaves their message. Since these are inbound calls, they won't be navigating the menu system to choose distribution lists.
Essentially I'm looking to have this work like a distribution list, but I also need this to be automatic when the caller connects.
Thanks.

No problem.
setup a call handler where you route these calls and set the message recipient up to be a public distribution list. All messages left for that call handler will be sent to all users on the DL.
should do what you want.

Another way of doing this is to go into Exchange (if you are using that) and there are settings to allow messages to be sent to multiple subscribers. Not a Unity fix, but in fact it allows you to fix the problem.

Lindborg, Thanks. That did the trick. Jay thanks for the information on the exchange configuration.
