Unity 4.0(5); Windows 2003 SP1; integrated with Exchange 2003 SP1. Errors began AFTER upgrading Windows 2003 to SP1 on Unity server (for JUST this domain only). Unity DC/GC Reconnect tool can successfully test connection to domain's DC and ping it. However, directory synchronization between Unity and this domain's DC is failing with following error: ERROR_DS_NO_ATTRIBUTE_OR_VALUE
The following info is from the AvDSAD micro traces:
15:51:36:070,AvDiagnostics_MC,1495,22504,-1,,DSAD,12,CAvADConnection::ADsGetObjectWrapper,ERROR_DS_NO_ATTRIBUTE_OR_VALUE: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist.
15:51:36:069,AvDiagnostics_MC,1505,22504,-1,,DSAD,10,LDAP://xxxDC-001.xxx.domain.net:389/cn=Users DC=xxx DC=domain DC=net,LDAP_NO_SUCH_ATTRIBUTE. It almost looks like the OU Users cannot be found, but we validated it does exist. The domain in question is an account domain only. Its email services are provided by the domain in which Unity is installed/integrated. The Exchange Admins are also seeing occasional replication problems for this domain and are looking into KB article 898060 as a possible solution. Unity permissions wizard has not been run on this domain yet, because we have not deployed IP phones/UM. We suspect customer may have applied further restrictions on this domain and will check with them next week. Do you have other suggestions/recommendations for us to check? Thank you in advance!
