Backing up Cisco Unity

I am very new to anything about Unity and need to set up back-ups and schedule it.

I am reading http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity/405/maintenance/guide/ex/mg_0450.html#wp1160153

but not very clear on what I need to do.

If someone can give me a readers digest version that would be great. I don't need it done for me just a point in the right direction. Cisco docs are a little confusing and very hard to find the exact information you are looking for.

Thanks,

Rick

Re: Backing up Cisco Unity

You can use the Cisco Unity Disaster Recovery Tool, located in the Unity Tools Depot under Administration Tools. There is also a very good help file and video about this tool located here:

http://ciscounitytools.com/App_DisasterRecoveryTools.htm

You will also find information pertaining to scheduling DiRT backups.
