Business Attendant Console going into emergency queue randomly

Hello,

Our receptionist has noticed that occassionally the BAC turns on the emergency queue during the day, making all incoming calls to the main number go to voicemail.  Unfortuantely, so there isn't any indication that the queue got switched, she notices it because the phones stops ringing.  It appears to be random times of days and about 3 times per week.  Both the server and the client were updated to the latest release (8.6) about 3 weeks ago.  This happened prior to the update, but was hoping the update would have fixed the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi Dawn,

The first thing comes into my mind is to check your console client preference setting. There is a setting called something like "Auto unavailable if idle longer than XX minutes". you can disable it, or set it to longer value.

Thank you  for your response.  Unfortunately in version 8.6, that setting does not exist.
