Can the presence server run and function (fully) without a user database accessible via LDAP?
Im not sure if we understood fully what was needed before we purchased our house system, and i am just looking for a confirmation from someone who may know the requirements off of the top of their head.
Ive got everything configured and working now, but presence is looking at the active directory database, which has usernames that match up with the usernames on the call manager database, and to me that just seems like a silly way to go about obtaining the information for presence.
