call forwarding from CME 4.x to Unity

Hi folks,

the Unity integration with CME 4.x works fine (TSP 8.1(2)). Now I could press the "messages" button, and query Unity pilot without problems.

But I've a question. How could I forward the calling to Unity mailbox?

Example.

on CME 4.x I've my ephone-dn number 601

The Unity integration conf is something like that:

telephony-service

voicemail 6600

!

ephone-dn 3 dual-line

number 6600 no-reg primary

name Voicemail 1

preference 1

no huntstop

!

ephone-dn 4 dual-line

number 6600 no-reg primary

name Voicemail 2

preference 2

!

ephone-dn 5

number A01 no-reg primary

name MWI Only

!

ephone-dn 6

number 6000 secondary 6001 no-reg both

mwi on-off

!

!

ephone 7

vm-device-id CISCOUM1-VI1

button 1:3

!

ephone 8

vm-device-id CISCOUM1-VI3

button 1:5

!

ephone 9

vm-device-id CISCOUM1-VI2

button 1:4

!

The integration works fine. 3 ports, 1 only for MWI. "messages" button calls 6600 (Unity pilot). On Unity system I've a subscriber "Me" with extension 601, as CME. I contact directly "601" mailbox.

But how to forward all calls for "601" to the specific mailbox on noan or busy event? a dial-peer perhaps?

I hope that's clear.

Any advice will be appreciated

Regards

Andrea

Use the following ephone commands for call forward

ephone-dn 20

number 601

call-forward all 6600

call-forward busy 6600

call-forward noan 6600 timeout 15

Regards,

Anup

well,

I've already tried that, but the calling is forward to Unity pilot, with generic greetings, and not directly to 601 mailbox (to leave a message).

I've tried the 'mailbox-selection' command too, but without success (maybe I don't understand that)

Any advice?

regards

Andrea
