Call Handler Configuration

Call handler is configured to play a greeting and take action based on the caller input. However immediately after tha greeting the system gives "Record your message at the tone" message. This happens even after checking "Do not play Record your message at the tone" prompt .

Also How to increase the time for the initial caller input, NOT additional digit.

You probably have the call handler's Greetings> After Greeting action set to "Take Message". If you want to allow more time for menu options, select "Reprompt the user after this many seconds of silence" and you can also choose how many times you want the greeting repeated before actually taking a message or perform another action if you choose.

Hello,

After greeting action has been selected as "Send caller to Subscriber" and selected the subscriber as well. Still after the greetings unity plays "Record your message after the tone" immediately.

When you select the subscriber to send it to, before submitting it, make sure that at the bottom of that window you select the drop down for the behavior you want. "Send to greeting for" or "Attempt transfer for". My guess is that you have it set to "Send to greeting for"

sorry to cut in but you also need to make sure with greeting you are setting this for.

and what is the scedule for both the call handler and the recipient.

Greeting is standard. Active Schedule of the call handler is "All Hours All Hours" Sourse is Recording, During Greeting "Allow Caller input" is checked.

Afret Greeting of this call handler has been set to "send caller to subscriber" and selected "Attempt transfer for" operator.

is the alternate greeting enabled? if it is it takes place of the standard and closed greetings.

also check all of the settings of the recipient subscriber.
