Call manager with Call pilot

Looking to design a solution with Cisco UCM solution that would use the existing Nortel Call Pilot to provide voice mail for the new IP Phone users on the Cisco UCM system. I am not certain however, that a cleaner approach might be to install Unity VM on the UCM system, and then tie the UCM/Unity system and Call Pilot together via PRI gateways using QSIG.

Using the Call Pilot as the VM for both Cisco and Nortel users would probably provide a more transparent mode of operation in terms of voicemail distribution lists and such. However, having a PRI interface in a Cisco voice gwy router and Nortel Media Gwy has a lot of appeal to me from a trouble shooting standpoint.

Which option would be best from integration as well as from troubleshooting prospective ? Any gotcha ?
