Hi,
in the datasheet for CUC 2.1 it states that you can "Record a live conversation with a caller and have the recording sent to your mailbox".
Is there any system admin needed to enable this feature and as an end user how do you start recording a live conversation - I can't find this info in the documentation anywhere.
Thanks,
Chris

Could anyone tell me if there's a programable softkey, feature code, or a service which I could configure rather than have to press 'conf' then live record DN and then 'conf' again.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Great question! This question does come up from time to time, but sadly, due to the way Conferencing works there is no method to configure the setup with a single button yet.
The Live Record Softkey is now available on CME 4.3 so you have to figure that this will be available in CCM somewhere down the road :)
The only thing that can make the process any quicker is to configure a Speed Dial button for dialing the Live Record Pilot number.
From a subscriber phone, dial a called party
After the called party answers, press the Conference button on the phone,
****This is where the Speed Dial Button can be used**** and dial the Live Record Pilot number.
Press the Conference button again to join the Unity recorder into the conference.

Hope this helps!
