Which suite is currently the prefered version if you want to use Callconnector features with the CME ? Unified Callconnector is stuck at v2.1 (CME8.5 max) and Smart Callconnector's main focus is the UC500-series although the documentation says it supports CME (up till 9.x).
I'm aware that the Smart Callconnector Suite is EOS/EOL. The Partner Helpdesk told me that UCC 2.1 should work with CME 9.1.
It's still a bit odd that they didn't update the UCC suite along with the Smart CC suite. And to add to the confusion telling that the Smart CC is also fit for the CME....
We've made a comparable quote based on the BE6K with a 3rd party console and this solution is only 1500 euros more expensive than the same setup based on CME with UCC. The Jabber client fulfills most of the customer's requirements so I think we'll ignore the CME and quote the BE6K.
