Caller System Transfer

I'm trying to setup Caller System Transfer so when an outside caller hits the Opening Greeting, they press "1"

1 then goes to the Caller System Transfer

They enter in the extenstion they wish to reach. In this case 7403.

It fails...

So I read on in the docs. From what it looks like to me is this:

Example Administrator is set as Owner to the Opening Greeting.

Example Admin has a COS.

The COS did not have the correctly Restrication table settings for System Transfer.

So I set the Restrictions table for system transfer to allow 7??? and set to yes.

Still no good.

Any pointers on this easy task, but complicated long way of going at it?

Thanks

Ahhh.. i found it of course...

CS_Default_System_Transfer

If my extensions are 7xxx and 8xxx you can just these into the this Restrictions Table above. I tried to do my own.. but no luck.

can i give my self 5 points?

Re: Caller System Transfer

can you be more specific than "it fails"? Does it tell you the number is invalid?

For caller system transfer, there's a system wide restriction table used for this (not one associated with a COS) - it's the tabled called "CS Default System Transfer". You'll need to adjust that to allow numbers to be entered - by default it allows nothing.
