Callers leave a message but the recipient does not hear it

Got a strange issue.

Some of the Local IPT users call a another IPT user within the company and correctly when there is no answer they get the unity voicemail prompt. They leave the message, but when the called person goes to listen to the message they hear nothing. The callers that leave this message have this issue with all IPT users but the called users get voicemail from other users within the org.

Anyone seen this before and if so did you get a resolution.

so a message is left but it's empty? This sounds like one of a variety of one-way audio issues - a good place to start is this troubleshooting tip:

Thanks, will try this when I get the Unity more stable after a hardware failure.

Jeff,

Looked at this and doesnt seem to be the issue. There are only three users in the system that have this problem out of 350. The call someone then go to voicemail, get prompted to leave the message, they leave the message and hang up.But the recipient cant hear the message from that user, and also the message does not appear to be sent as a mail to the inbox either
