Callmanager Licensing Problem-Please help

nickolaskoiser

I made an error while installing the cisco callmanager.

I would want to have a publisher and a subscriber on the network.

While getting the licences i used both PAKs with the Publisher's mac-address.

My PAKs are now used,i cant use either of the two to get a licence for the subscriber.

What do i do?

Launching a case with TAC may take a while,am only supposed to be here for a specified time.

Please help me,all you good people out there.

Hi Nicholas,

The license for additional Nodes needs to be purchased from Cisco. If you have purchased this already then I would send an email to;

licensing@cisco.com

With all the details including;

Corporate Name/Address

PO#

CCM Publisher MAC

And ask them to send you the proper license for both Nodes.

Hope this helps!

Rob

Hi Nickolas,

You have done the right thing my friend :) All CCM Licenses should reference the Publisher MAC. The License should reflect 2 Nodes, 1 for Pub and 1 for Sub. The Subscriber MAC should not be used here.

Hope this helps!

Rob

But the license report showing on the publisher has only one node license feature.

How do i overcome this/increase the number of nodes to two so it becomes a cluster.

Please help on this,thanks for your quick response.
