Re: CallManager

This is usually a microsoft issue, please check this documents:

If that is not the problem I have also seen that rebooting the servers in the cluster help

(if the name of the computer that you are seeing in the error is the publisher or one

subscriber).

If after the reboot the errors are still showing please also check that the host and

lmhost files are updated. Do the following:

Use Notepad (select Start > Programs > Accessories > Notepad; click File > Open) to open the file named hosts, which is

located in the folder C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\.

At the end of the hosts file, append a new line for all servers in the CallManager cluster & the Unity server. Leave a tab between the IP and hostname:

<#PRE>

For example,

192.168.1.1 PUBCCM1 #PRE

192.168.1.2 SUBCCM1 #PRE

192.168.1.3 SUBCCM2 #PRE

Do the same with the lmhosts file.

Afetr updating the hosts and lmhosts, please open a DOS window and run the following

commands:

C:\>nbtstat -R

C:\>nbtstat -c

Re: CallManager

These errors can also occur if the MCS server has dual NICs and only one is connected and the other interface is NOT disabled. By default the unused network interface is disabled during the install process.
