Can CallManager 4.x connect to PBX [Siemens Hipath 4000] using SIP trunk?

Hi all,

I've Cisco CallManager 4.x and a PBX [Siemens Hipath 4000]. I saw that Hipath 4000 support SIP.

Can the CCM 4.x connect to Hipath4000 using SIP trunk? I can't find any documents about this scenario.

If not, please show me how to connect Hipath 4000 to Callmanager (hardware & software requirement for both PBX & CCM).

You might be able to to, just all depends on the SIP standard that Siemens uses and Cisco uses. Since SIP has a few standard features, either vendor may or may not have the same.

I would configure the SIP the trunk on CCM with the standards, and point the HiPath to it and cross your fingers.

You might be better off with going for a more standard T1 to T1 if all else fails.
