can Unity call out to an external number then add an ext.?
I have a call handler that calls out to an external long distance number if the caller presses 1. However when that called number answers it goes into another call menu (this is a seperate company not in our unity system). The user would like to have an additional ext. dialed (exp. 215) once the call is answered and the menu starts.
I have tried to add several ",'s" for 1 second delays but all I get is dead air. Without the ",'") it works well but then the original caller must press 1 again. Any ideas

The transfer rules on a call handler can be configured to dial any number you want. Typically if you stick something like "9,1234567", it'll grab a trunk and dial the number just like from your phone.
If the transfer rule is active (there are three - one for day schedule, one for off hours and an alternate that over rides both when active) then the number will be dialed using either release (we dial the number and hang up) or supervised (we hook flash, grab a line, dial it and when we think it's been answered, complete the transfer).
If you're mapping a user input key to go directly to the call handler, be sure to use the "attempt to ring phone" option instead of the default "send to greeting for" option. That trips a few folks up.
