ccm 4.1(3) disaster recovery

hello,

in the event of a crash of our production ccm 4.1(3) box, we plan to failover to our ipcc express server. (same ProLiant DL320 G2 model)we are running BARS backup.

would this be too time consuming? I started reading here, but not sure which direction to go.

thank you for any assistance

Exactly what do you ask will be time consuming??

Running BARS??

Restoring BARS??

rebuilding a server?

doing a failover to another CCM server from the cluster??

Assuming you already have done the full CCM install on the exact same version as old server the rest is to install BARS on the server, preferably copy the backup file to the server and the use the restore wizard to get all the info.

There really are not many steps on the process, you'll spend most of the time reinstalling the CIPT OS and CCM.
