CCM stop a user group from making changes to specific range of extensions

Hi, Callmanager 4.1(3),Is there any way that we stop a user group from making changes to specific range of extensions and/or device pools? As I know MLA could not do this. Appreciate any advice.

There is no tiered access in CCM 4.1.3. Even using Voice Provision Tool, it does limit the CCM administrator to change phone displays, add, delete, modify phones etc. They do not have access to partitions, but have access to all IP phones. there is no way to limit by Partition.

My understanding is that the new product out for Cisco you can limit admins from other partitions or device partitions. This would be great. At our site, we give our remote SRST admins access to VPT so they can modify or add phones to their site based on the templates we have built. But they don't have access to CCMadmin on the Pub. It's a great tool for junior admins.

The new product is escaping me right now, but if I find it, I will post it.

Thanks a lot. It will be great if you can post the product name.

It might be the new Unified Communications Service Monitor. I think the rolled VPT into this product. Check with your local Cisco SE on this.
