Hi all,

Is there any procedure to change the IP address of the 2 interfaces of Cisco Meetingplace Express 2.1? or should I reinstall the entire system? or use the linux filesystem, and if it is the case, what could we attribute a hostname relatively to an interface ?

Thanks in advance

Hi -

You can use the CLI net command to change the IP addresses of eth0 and eth1:

net - Lists the current network configuration settings and allows you to change them after the system has been installed. Most changes take affect after restarting the system.

Use the net command to set the following:

•Port configuration parameters, including the primary IP address, subnet mask, secondary IP address, default gateway, MTU, and link parameters (auto-negotiation, speed, duplex).

•Hostnames

•Domain name

•DNS servers

•NTP servers

•Static routes

Syntax: net

Here is the maintenance and reconfiguration guide link - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/meetingplace_express/2_0/english/administration/guide/cmg.html
