Cisco 8945 Line Text Label Display

I've noticed that even though there are only 4 buttons on the 8945 IP Phone, the display for the line text label is trunkated half-way down the screen.  Is this by design?  Am I missing something?  It's making it very difficult to write any useful line text labels for phones or users.

Any insight appreciated.

I think you are been hit by bug

Use latest firmware and see if it resolves the issue.

We have an enhancement request filed for this: CSCtz39665.

This will soon be visible in the software bug toolkit, and you will be able to view the details then.

The enhancement should be completed by end of May 2012.
