Hi All,
I am currently introducung a presence server into our enviroment to support Jabber and I would like to know if there are any best practises or special considerations that I need to make when configuring the domain name.
Does the domain name need to match our internal Active Directory domain or external public domain
Example, our internal domain is company.local and out external domain (for email, vpn, web sites etc) is company.co.uk
Thanks

Hi all,
Any considerations that need to be made for federation? I have a Jabber deployment using our internal domain and we now have a requirment to federate but I'm not sure how this will work. Can we just map our presence servers to our public domain or will I need to change our CUPs servers to the public domain?
