I have installed and configured CUPM 1.3.1.

Now I have some questions about functionality of product:

1. Can I change some settings on the phone without subscriber attached to the phone?

2. I can't change/delete any gateway or route pattern. Could you send me batch file, that show me this action?

The UPM is really just a front end for CUCM with templates. It's a tool for "junior" admins to help out with setting up phoens/lines/vm boxes without actually accessing the CUCM or Unity boxes. The administrator can setup templates and grant access to the "junior" admins or other staff members add/remove phones/lines/vm boxes, etc.

If you change a setting a phone and save it, it will push it out to CUCM and CUCM will update the phone.

Ok, I don't want to describe my question again, could you show me example of changing description field on h.323 gateway configuration? Or changing of phone's setting without subscriber (user attached to this phone)?
