Cisco Unity Connection - Assigning 2 recordings to one System Call Handler

Hi All,

We have got a request from a client regarding the below:

During week days (Mon - Fri) from 7pm to 7am, a recording informing that office is closed should be played when incoming call reach extension 1234.

During week end (Fri 7pm - Mon 7am), another recording should be played informing when an incoming call to 1234 is done.

Unfortunately, it seems that only one recording under the Closed greeting can be configured for one active schedule.

Is there any solution to configure same on CUC?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Pascal

For this you can configure

For this you can configure "Time of Day" call routing in CUCM with one more system call handler in CUC, it will work perfectly.

Dear All,Thank you for your

Dear All,

Thank you for your response.

Time of Day Routing was used in order to setup 2 greetings.

Do note that 2 Translation pattern was used in this setup as well as 2 SCH.

Alternate greetings was used as well instead of closed greetings.

Important point is that scheduling is completely done CUCM, not on CUC.

Have a nice day everyone.

Kind Regards,

Pascal

Bronze

it can be done in unity

it can be done in unity connection with different schedule settings for each call handler

example:

main greeting with normal business hour ==> weekday close hour greeting ==> weekend close hour greeting

set up 3 different schedule and 3 call handlers to accomplish this task.
