Cisco Unity Status Monitor

How do i get "Start" and"Shutdown" option enable? These two items are grayed out in our system.

What version of Unity are you running here?

Does the status monitor page show "running" to the left of your shutdown and startup buttons there? Do the other pages on the status monitor work properly (i.e. can you see the port status info properly)?

We are at 4.0(2).

Yes - the status minitor page does show "running" - but shutdown and startup buttons are greyed out.

Yes - i can see port status info properly.

This looks like the bug you are seeing:

looks like it's fixed in 4.0(3) - and that you can clear it by starting and stopping Unity via the tray icon...

thanks for the info. It gives me one more reason to update to 4.0(3).

I am having a similar issue with 4.0.2. Only my Unity Status Monitor page says "Not Connected" next to my grayed out Start and Shutdown buttons. I also cannot access any of the other pages in Status Monitor. Another symptom of my issue is the Unity Personal Communications Assistant page http:///ciscopca displays "Unable to contact server" just above the User Name, Password and Domain blanks. A reboot of the server will correct the issue but only for a day or two. Then it returns again. Any help is much appreciated.
