Class of Service in UCX

Unity Connection 7.1(3)

Need to clarify behavior ... I have two CoS profiles: one with Voice Recognition enabled, one without. If I move a user from one CoS to the other I would assume it should add or remove the feature accordingly. (?)  In my tests I had to delete the user entirely and rebuild it for the features to change. Doesn't seem right to me.

Assistance appreciated.

Thanks,

Brian Carscadden

Re: Class of Service in UCX

Hey Brian,

Hope all is well buddy

Voice Recognition is a weird one, we found that to change this for a user

we have to move the COS (as you have done) and then go to the user

page and;

Edit> Phone Menu> Conversation style > Voice recognition (checkbox)

I guess it kind of makes sense, in that the first step allows Voice recognition to be used

via the COS move and the second step turns it on for the user. If you were doing this for many users

at once I think you could use Bulk Edit for the second step.

Cheers!

Rob
