Click To Call 8.0 dialing

We recently upgraded a computer from Click to Call 7.0 to 8.0 and have noticed that it has problems stripping the area code.
We save numbers in Outlook as e.g. +32 (0)9xxxxxxx and these are dialed as 0003209xxxxxxx instead of 000329xxxxxxx

In the previous version we had no problem with this format...

Is there any solution other then to reformat our numbers in Outlook or to use application dial rules as a workaround?

There are two places that C2C will manipulate dialing digits:

1) Dial rules from CUCM > Call Routing > Dial Rules > Application Dial Rules.

2) Locally on C2C preferences.

You may want to check both.  Cisco's recommendation is to disable #2 via registry tweak and use #1 only.

I know about the dialing rules in the C2C application and these are set up as should be (dial 0 for outside line, 00 for international numbers).

What bothers me is that this used to work perfect in C2C 7.0 without creating application dial rules, so why would I need to set these up now?

Check this part of the documentation, it specified what registry keys you can set:

It should be possible to do this without application dial rules. However it defaults to using application dialing rules if you do not specify it in registry not to use them. Hope that helps?
