No, it doesn't. HotMode uses the same base code as briefcase - if it's not collected by Briefcase it's not in HotMode. You'll notice in hhot mode the regular export is launched as part of the migration - the primary difference is only data for objects strictly required for migration is included in the backup (i.e. so moving small numbers of folks goes faster) - but it does not fetch more/different data as part of the process.
