Re: Configuring cue

So a quick point or two then a couple of comments.

CUE:

ccn subsystem sip

gateway address "10.4.0.2"

end subsystem

Should point back to CME.

ccn subsystem sip

gateway address "10.4.0.1"

end subsystem

You should configure NTP on both CME and CUE

ntp server x.x.x.x

You need to create triggers in CUE.

ccn trigger sip phonenumber 5000

application "voicemail"

enabled

maxsessions 6

end trigger

Then create a user and a mailbox.

username JohnDoe create

username JohnDoe phonenumberE164 "1231231234"

username JohnDoe phonenumber "1234"

voicemail mailbox owner "JohnDoe" size 300

description "John Doe"

end mailbox

Give that a whirl and see what you think.

Please provide feedback if the solution fits.

Re: Configuring cue

Give this a read for starters.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/rel7_1/administrator/GUI/GUIadmin.html

When you say you have configured MWI on and off, pilots, etc.  Are you referring to the dial-peers in CME?

Can you provide CME and CUE configurations for us to review?

Also check out the below CLI configuration reference if you are CLI inclined.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/unity_exp/command/reference/CUECmdRef.html

Re: Configuring cue

I will go throug both readings, but actually i do prefer CLI

I have experience in cucm and cme, but im a complete beginer with cue

Thanks for your quick anwser

Re: Configuring cue

These changes need to be made to CME as well.

ephone-dn  3

number 1001....

mwi on

!

!

ephone-dn  4

number 1002....

mwi off

I hope this helps.

Re: Configuring cue

Thanks alot for your help,

all this configurations are from a lab enviroment, but i appreciate your corrections, actually i was having trouble with the mwi as well and you pointed me why.

I traveled today for the "real thing", but the equipenemt didnt arrive yet, so i didnt try, but everything its a lot clearer now.
