This one is very strange - whenever you leave a voicemail (using the phone) on someone else's voicemail, a copy of your voicemail is placed in your mail file's trash folder. Sounds strange, but yes, the voicemail you just left for someone else is copied into your mail file (Lotus Notes) and shows up in your trash folder. If anyone can help us identify what causes this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this is a way of notes operation.
whenever a file is manipulated, ie: copied, moved, deleted, added to archive, it is done so from a copy created in the TRASH.
once the action is completed, notes updates its database of the new copy/move/delete, etc. and keeps the file that was worked with in the trash. (now ready for deletion)
this is normal notes operation. (notice if you move a file to an archive, it creates a copy in TRASH)
in the case of UnifiedMessaging, notes creates the copy in the TRASH and then uses that to send a copy to the recipients email box.

Ahh! Thank you for the information, that really helps! It would be nice if they deleted it automatically - with soft deletes, it remains there for x amount of time and that's more space used on the server (1,100 users). Anyhow, thanks again!
