Corporate Directory Remains on 8945 Phone Screen

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the behavior of the Corporate Directory on 8945 phones so that once a call is placed the phone exits the directory search results?  Users find it very annoying that they have to remember to exit the directory after they place their call.   This is on CUCM 8.6.2.20000-2 and firmware SCCP8941_8945.9-3-1-19 and is only occuring on the 8945s.

No way as far as I know...

You have to press Exit, then Cancel on the 3rd softkey, and to finish Exit on the 1st softkey.

An "Exit All" key and an exit timeout timer would be appreciated.

I think we'll have to wait for new phone firmware.

Hi,

With 9.3(4) it works fine if the called party answers.

If it rings only, we stay in the Directory page ad vitam aeternam...

Hi Jean-Christophe,

If its working fine in case of call being answered and not in case of call not being answered then you can open a TAC case to check if this is working as expected or if this is being tracked by the Dev team.
