CSCtc02457 Delay and poor audio quality when using CUPC Softphone

Hi all,

does anybody know when the Bug "CSCtc02457 Delay and poor audio quality when using CUPC Softphone " will be fixed?

This may not be the answer you're looking for but it is an honest one.  You are not likely to get a solid answer on this in the forums or from Cisco TAC for that matter.  The bug was discovered in CUPC 7.0(2) and is still listed as OPEN in the bug toolkit.  So, there is no definitive timeline for when it will be fixed.  Your best bet for any answer beyond that is to contact your Cisco AM and ask if they can provide a better answer from internal to Cisco as to committed dates for a release where this will be fixed.

We are encountering the same issue "Bad Audio Quality when using CUPC Softphone".

Did you succeed in getting a new not released CUPC software package or an update from Cisco?

We have also problems with delay but only when calling

between one cupc in softphone mode and the other controlling hardphone.

When both are in softphone mode the audio and video are fine, the same when both are controlling a hardphone.

We noticed the problem first in CUPC 8 and have it in CUPC 8.5 too.
