CTI PORTS in ip contact center

Hi,

I have a query regarding CTI ports. We are creating CTI ports in IPIVR for the call queing, prompting etc.

Do we need to create CTI ports in CUCM also for the Route Point.

Regards,

DJ

Re: CTI PORTS in ip contact center

Hi

CTI Route Points are different to CTI Ports.

CTI RPs are created when you add a trigger to an application via AppAdmin.

CTI Ports are added when you add a Call Control Group via AppAdmin.

You don't add any of them direct to CCM.

Re: CTI PORTS in ip contact center

I have only worked on Contact Center Express, but whenever I created CTI ports or route points on the contact center it would sync them over to the callmanager.  Someone PLEASE correct me if I am wrong.
