CUC forward directly to voicemail

Using Cisco Unity Connection 1.1.1.

How can I set up a callhandler (or similar) to forward calls directly to voicemail from Auto Attendant? Example: User presses 3 within Auto Attendant Main menu, then goes to second prompt, where they input extension to leave a voicemail rather than ring phone.

The contact (transfer) rule on the call handler or subscriber dictates if the phone will be rung or not - you can only over ride it if the call is forwarded from that extension into Unity (we skip transfer rules in that case to prevent call loops) or if the user dials the extension from the auto attendant followed by #2 - this forces Unity to skip the transfr rules and go right to the greeting.

There's no way to setup a call handler that sends a caller to another call handler or subscriber and forces the target handler/subscriber to skip transfer rules.
