As we know Unity 8.x is dropping support for Domino, and Cisco Unity Connection 8.5+ has some options for unified messaging with MS Exchange. Does anyone know if unified messaging will work with Domino? The documentation seems to neither confirm nor deny this.
Also, what are the future support plans for Domino environments? With Unity 8.x dropping support for Domino it seems to indicate that the migration / upgrade strategy for Domino environments should be towards Connection, but it seems like a tough sell to take Unified Messaging away from Domino and only offer Integrated Messaging via IMAP for notes.
Would appreciate any info / thoughts that anyone has related to this...
Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon,
Unity Connection does not integrate with IBM Lotus Domino. However,
if the customer migrates to Connection, users can use Notes to access
Connection voice messages via IMAP.

Tere.

Hi Tere,
Thanks for the quick reply and for confirming the IMAP only option (+5). Am I correct to assume that when Unity 7.x becomes end of life there will be no future Unified Messaging support for Domino? Or are there any plans for Unity 9.x or Connection 9.x to offer this functionality in the future for Domino?
Regards,
Jon
