CUC7.1.3, "User Must Change at Next Login" issue

Hi,

My goal is forced password change for the PCA first time login users,

Two options in user "password settings",

-User Must Change at Next Login

-Does Not expire

when I uncheck the "Does Not expire" field and click <Save> button, always back to check marking automatically.

I cannot achieve "User Must Change at Next Login" cause of this issue,

Advise please!!!

Hi -

Is your Unity Connection integrated with an LDAP directory?  If it is, you cannot force web password expiration or reset - the web application password and password settings (for example, password-complexity settings and whether the password expires) are controlled by the LDAP server.  If not integrated with LDAP, then depending on how you set up user accounts, you can require users to change their Cisco PCA passwords the first time that they log on.   Check the web authentication rule and also the template you have created for new users - here is a link - http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/7x/administration/guide/7xcucsag160.html#wp1051722
