CuciLync with OCS 2007 R2
When I start CuciLync I get the following error message after it tries to connect for abouta minute: "A timeout occurred starting the system service. Please select retry."
Even after a full uninstall including removing registry entries I still get this error message after I reinstall CuciLync. It's the same issue in other user profiles as well.
I believe that it might be trying to use incorrect credentials but I can't find a way to have CuciLync prompt for username and password.
I've tried to disable the AutoLogin registry entry but that doesn't work either.

Have you looked in the logs for clues? Start with the core log, they are very descriptive.

Log Files yes all 5M of them. :-(
Did you have some specific in mind?
The only way to understand the LoG files in any depth is to have the code behind them.
But typical Cisco IOS mentality.

In order to troubleshoot anything you need to analyze logs once everything else including reviewing configuration did not reveal the issue. Reading CUCILnc logs is no different than reading any other logs, you replicate the problem, take a note of the time and start at that a point in the logs. As I indicated earlier the "core" log is your best option to see what is going on, you search for "error", "exception", etc.
