Hi
Has anyone successfully deployed CUCM 7.0 and OCS 2007 for Remote Call Control (RCC) using redundant CUPS 7.0 servers?
I know CUPS can be clustered easily.
Can the route to the redundant CUPS on the OCS Front End server be configured using FQDN and both CUPS be configured with the same DNS alias?
Is it necessary to use a virtual IP for the CUPS and load balance it to the physical IPs? If so, what load balancers have you used?
Many thanks in advance
Regards
Stefan

looks like you have to use load-balancer:

I haven't played around with "virtual IP".
A DNS SRV record should do the job.

Hi Michael
Thanks for the reply.
The FQDN option on the Next hop in our OCS is only possible when using TLS instead of TCP (see screenshot "ocs_rcc_static_route.jpg").
I guess it won't work with TLS and the DNS SRV record since the OCS will the the FQDN in the certificate.
