CUCM 7.1.3 & Lync integration issue

Hi,

    We are trying to complete an integration between CUCM 7.1.3 & Micrsoft Lync.

Calls can flow from lync clients to cucm phones & external OK.

However, when trying to call from cisco phone to lync client, the call fails with a service unavailable message.

The service it refers to is that cucm is no tsending comfort noise to lync & as such will not complete call setup!

Has anyone seen this?

You might want to have a look at the CUCM-Lync integration guides available at " Cisco Interoperability Portal " to see if your configuration is not missing anything.

Unfortunately Microsoft SIP has a lot of Propietary features and requirements that doesn't play along with CUCM. Please post either a packet capture from the CUCM side, or a CUCM trace so we can see the SIP signaling and tell what side is dropping the ball.

If the error comes from the MS side, you might need to engage MS support into this.
