Hi Mukesh,

What do you mean by Another network. Do you have any firewall in between. Check ACL applied, check routing between two network.

Generally one way audio is caused by routing issue or firewall issue.

Hello Ronak ,

       First thanks for reply.

I am using public IP on CUCM and in my local network (Private) its working fine but when i connect with another network like another Public IP network then my phones are registered and my voice is going but i can't hear voice.

As i know i have no firewall in my network if by default have then how to remove it.

And what routing need on router.

Thanks in Advance

Mukesh

HI

Another Public IP network, means you are regestering your phone using internet. SO this can be a problem , because internet does not gurentee minimum RTP requirements like delay, RTT etc.

Hello Ronak,

you are right but i think i have not internet problem like RTP or RTT because when two another Public IP person communicate then both side voice is coming it mean i have problem in my routing,ACL or firewall.

thanks & Regards

Hello All,

I want to know that when i put the public ip on my CUCM then i need additional configuration on router and switch or no need please advise me,

what i need voice vlan or gateway?

because my phone is registered from any network and my voice is going to all but i can't hear the voice. its urjent please some one advise me.

Thanks in Advance

Mukesh

Hi,

As a best practice , we do not expose CUCM to public ip address. To get access of CUCM through Public internet we have phone proxy /ASA proxy feature

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/solutions/collateral/ns340/ns394/ns165/ns391/white_paper_c11-493584.html

To make it work you will have to check the routing or FW and ACL in between phones.

Hello Ronak Patel,

        I  explain my topology here:-

CUCM IP :- 109.205.117.230/30( Public IP)

DHCP Server IP:- 109.205.117.230

Primary TFTP Server IP Address(Option 150):- 109.205.117.230

DHCP Subnet:- 10.10.0.0/24

On router (CISCO 7200)

interface GigabitEthernet0/3.522

encapsulation dot1Q 522

ip address 109.205.117.229 255.255.255.252

On switch(Cisco C3550)

interface fa0/11

switchport voice vlan 522

switchport mode access

switchport port-fast

Second IpPhone IP:- 192.168.1.119 (NO voice hear   )
