CUCMBE - can't creat unity connection users

Brand new CUCMBE system. Can't create a unity user. I get to the dialog to create a user...asks me for the server name and template and then times out and craps out with a java error.

Any ideas?\

Unity answers just fine and ports came up OK, etc. Just can't add folks to it!

Have you added the users to the CUCM side? you have to add users of Unity with First Name Last name, phonoe, associate a line or device. Then go to Unity, Sync users, activate, etc.

If you are having Java problems, restart the Unity connection services or try a different web browser. I just put a CUCMBE in the other day and no java issues.

Turned out that I made a typo in the IP address for the Unity server (on box) in the Applications Servers config of CUCM.

All is well now.
