I have a Cisco Unified Enterprise Attendant Console and I am hoping I will be able to get a solution for my problem.
What I am trying to do is to get certain transfered calls to be reverted back to the Operator. I know that a call can be reverted back to the Operator if the Extention that the call was transfered to did not answer or it was busy. What I am trying to do however is to get a transfered call reverted back to the Operator when the conversation ends (basically when the Extention hangs up the phone).
CALLER makes a call and OPERATOR answers.
OPERATOR transfers the call to the desired EXTENTION.
EXTENTION answers the call.
After the conversation, EXTENTION hangs up the phone and CALLER is reverted back to the OPERATOR.
OPERATOR transfers the CALLER to a new DESTINATION NUMBER.
The CALLER stops getting reverted back to the OPERATOR only when the CALLER hangs up the phone.
There is a chance that what I want to do can be accomplished with Transfer Reversion, but I am not sure I have correctly understood what this function does, and for some strange reason, I cannot find any documentation that accurately describes how Transfer Reversion works.
