CUP administration question

Hi

I have CUCM 6.1 and CUP 6.0 setup. I want to create a admin level login for helpdesk staff in CUP. I have their user IDs in CUCM associated with Phone/User administration role and thus they are able to change basic user settings but not call routing settings.

I want to achieve same in CUP. either their own user ID or a general id for HD to change only certain settings.

can anyone let me know how to achieve this?

Any help is appreciated

Re: CUP administration question

short answer is: no. there's no such thing on CUPS. once you give "CUP Super User" to them, they can change anything.

Re: CUP administration question

CUPS does not have the same granularity as CUCM on permissions and roles.

The groups available on CUPS are:

Admin-3rd Party API

Admin-CUMA

InterCluster Peer User

Standard CUP Super Users

Re: CUP administration question

Hi Michael

Thanks for the reply. My question is still the same. Apart from a admin account can I create another admin account which can be used by HD.

where to create this?
