CUPC 7 has a delivery message error

Hi!

I have CUPC version 7 and when i am doing instant messaging to the receipent which is online and available an error occured on the screen which is as " <Recipient> did not recieve your message because it could not be delivered." wht does that means and what are troubleshooting and rectification steps required for this. kindly guide me cisco gru on this.

CUPC 7 has a delivery message error

Hi Hafiz,

Please check if there is any firewall between CUPC/CUPS, check the following bug

If firewall or network problems are ruled out then this will require a set of SIP Proxy and Presence Engine logs specifying the user ID, time, and exact text which was sent before seeing the message delivery error.

Steps to cllect logs

Also collect a problem report from CUPC.
